  1. Clothing, footwear, wallets, or bags, including handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, and diaper bags, but excluding briefcases, suitcases, and other garment bags, with a sales price of $100 or less per item
  2. School supplies with a sales price of $15 or less per item
  3. The first $750 of the sales price of personal computers or personal computer-related accessories purchased for noncommercial home or personal use
  4. Note: does not apply to sales made within a theme park, entertainment complex, public lodging establishment, or airport

Hurricane preparedness items and supplies not sold at any airport, public lodging establishment or hotel, convenience store or entertainment complex – $1,500 or less per item. Note: the holiday only applies to the 4% state sales tax and doesn’t apply to local sales tax.
